I understand that I am required to serve a minimum of two hours in my local church in the area of Emphasis that I choose and that GSM requires a letter of recommendation from my pastor confirming my service area of choice. Choose one:

NextGen - Kids, Youth & Young Adult Ministry (Discipleship/Spiritual Formation, Preaching/Teaching/Talks, & Services/Events/Experiences), Camps Organizational Leadership - Operations, Finance, HR, Campus Care, Event Management, Strategic Planning, Organization/Ministy Culture & Development Multimedia & Creative Arts - Worship, Production (Tech, Audio-Visual & Lighting), Media & Design (Video Production, Graphics/Design & Social Media) Pastoral Leadership - Pastoral Care, Preaching/Teaching/Talks, Discipleship, Assimilation, Event & Conference Development Leadership Missions - Organization, Implementation of Spiritual Formation, Cultural, Geographic, Government & Economic Education, Travel Plans/ itinerary/Secure Stay/Transportation, Medical & Emergency Preparation Sports Ministry – The student must perform his/her service hours with a professional training ministry

GSM holds as a value that “In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity,” St. Augustine of Hippo (354 – 430). GSM believes that the Apostles’ Creed holds essential elements of our faith:

- Two letters of recommendation from a non-family-member

- If you are married – a letter of recommendation from your spouse stating they support you on this endeavor.

- All our students will be serving at their local church. Please have a background check at your local church and have your pastor submit the results to gsm@gochurchtx.org.
